The Casting Method
How we make our pieces.

First, a wax model is carved in the shape of the piece of jewelry, in this case a collection of pieces..
Then, a plaster mold is poured around the wax models in a cylinder.
The cylinder is then put into a kiln. Six hours later the wax is gone and the plaster holds that design.

Wax models

Small bits of pure gold and other metal is then melted by heat in a crucible.

Flame

Centrifugal force is used causing the liquid gold to shoot into the plaster mold.

Melt

The cylinder is allowed to cool. The pieces are now covered with the plaster.

this is what they look like after they are all scrubbed clean.
