About Kit

Kit Kuhn has had a retail store over 20 years now. It is located in Gig Harbor, Washington. Gig Harbor is about 50 minutes from Seattle and ten minutes from Tacoma and is on the Key Peninsula. It is a small Harbor town.
Kit Kuhn's store is called Kit- A Jeweler Designed for You.® , is on Harborview drive, on the waterfront .

Kit Kuhn's shop has a wide variety of unique jewelry, mostly one of a kind or a limited series. About 80% of the jewelry displayed is made in his store, About 80% of what they make is already bought, thus commissioned. One third of his work is wedding sets. He has a wide selection of gold and silver. He uses platinum on request. You will find a large selection of colored stones, gems, and diamonds to choose from at Kits.

There is nineteen years worth of unique jewelry to come and see. Kit will work with your design or stones as well. Since age 13 Kit Kuhn has been creating finished products in metal with determination, quality and interest. At this age he was also selling his work in stores and apprenticing. Since then he has won many awards. He has studied in Denver, Colorado (where he was born) then in California, Oregon and abroad in Stockholm, Sweden.

All of his work is hand fabricated, individually made and numbered. Kit Kuhn is quoted as saying "Though times will change, some things will remain the same: the quality of my work, the professional attitude I will exhibit and the affordable price range. If it says Kit on it you know it's handmade."
